This is a historical song cycle based on stories of people and places in the Creston Valley and surrounding area. I knew some of people featured in these songs. It's mostly based on true stories though it would be best to describe it as a work of creative nonfiction.
There were so many interesting topics to write about, so many more veins of precious song-metal that I'd like to mine that there could very possibly be a Volume II in the future.
